Hey Everyone,

Looking forward to seeing you this afternoon.  I wasn’t optimistic we’d get to ride today, but the weather seems to be shifting in our favour.  Even if it starts to rain this afternoon, please meet me with your bike at the door that leads to the courtyard in front of the Great Hall door (basically the door closest to Rooms 109 and 110).

Today we will:

  • Do basic safety stuff- how to be safe on the road, hand signals, passing other cyclists, etc.
  • Talk about basic bike maintenance- do you know how to change a tube? Do you know how to put air in tires?
  • If it’s not raining hard, we will definitely go for a spin.

    See you at 3:30.

    Ms. Coates.

In our first meeting, we will introduce ourselves to each other and check in on equipment and expectations you have of this games choice.  I will ask you to fill out this form, which will help me plan our sessions.

In this space, after looking at your responses, I will post a schedule for our sessions after spring break.

Over spring break, please use the time to get the equipment you don’t yet have, and try to get out on a few bike rides to get comfortable on your bike.
